Donna Fay Joseph

Donna Fay Joseph, age 73, of Piketon, Ohio, passed away on June 23, 2026, at Piketon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born March 10, 1953, in Middletown, Ohio. Donna was a woman whose steady devotion and faithful spirit were evident in the life she built and the people she loved. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Lee Shepherd and Marie (McGuire) Shepherd; her beloved husband, Boone Douglas “Doug” Joseph, whom she married on June 3, 1972, and who passed on August 2, 2014; and her brother, Samuel Douglas “Shep” Shepherd. She is survived by her children, Darryn Douglas Joseph of Waverly, Ohio and Deanna Fay (James) Gallion of Portsmouth, Ohio and her sister, Wanda Johnson of Trenton, Ohio. As a Baptist Christian, Donna was a member of Mary Chapel United Baptist Church in Waverly, Ohio and Little Ella Church in Jeffersonville, Kentucky. Her faith guided her with quiet strength and enduring grace. She found happiness in simple, meaningful moments such as fishing, cooking, board games and card games with family, and photography, and overall spreading happiness to everyone. These pursuits reflected her appreciation for time well spent and memories well kept. Family would like to acknowledge the overwhelming care and attention that Donna has received from the staff at Piketon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 10am to 12 pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home with Elder Steve McGuire officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
