Donna S. Sweet, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Cridersville Healthcare Center. Donna was born on August 21, 1942 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late William Parker and Catherine (French) Halcomb. On July 3, 1959 in Corbin, KY, she married her husband, James Sweet, and he preceded her in death on their 57th wedding anniversary in 2016. Donna is survived by her children, Sherry (Thomas) Teague and Timothy (Cheri) Sweet; grandchildren, Phillip, Adam, Jason, Michaela, Meghan, TJ, Tyler, Hannah, and Mark; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Sonia (Jess) Harkleroad, Nancy (Bill) Patrick, Parka (Ron) Samples, and John (Debbie) Halcomb; daughter-in-law, Mary Sweet; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Dennis Sweet and Chadwick Sweet; and brother, William Jeffrey Halcomb. A Visitation will be held from 11am until 12pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will begin at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton.
