Doris Mae Fox Anderson

Doris Mae Anderson, age 90, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Ft Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Bicknell, Indiana, on October 2, 1920, the daughter of the late Raymond and Zada (Wampler) Fox. In 1940, Doris married her husband of over 65 years, Kenneth Wayne Anderson, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2006. Doris enjoyed her family, fishing, card games and bingo. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hamilton. Doris is survived by her seven children, Stephen (Mary) Anderson, Claire (Thomas) Vogel, Tom (Brenda) Anderson, Susan Hart, Randy (Pam) Anderson, Kenna (Gregory) Ervin and Bob (Beth) Anderson; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Doris was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to those who responded with extraordinary love and care to our mother’s open heart. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Tom and family,
A loss of a mother is always such a tragedy in every family.Your mom was such a wonderful lady.She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone.She had a grace and beauty about her that everyone could see.We shall miss her very much.
