Doris Jean Sams, 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on August 15, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Ida Mae (Roberts) Moore. On February 3, 1951, she married Robert Sams and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1984. Doris was the beloved mother of Steve (Elaine) Sams, Vickie (Don) Brandenburg and Robert E. Sams; daughter-in-law, Paula Sams; grandchildren, Elijah, Andy, Travis, Chris, Samantha, Libby and Julie; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and one on the way. Her son, Gregg Sams and her grandson Joey Brandenburg also preceded Doris in death. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10am to 12pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will follow at 12pm at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Mullins officiating. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
