

Dorothy Ann Rupp, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2014 in Monroe, Ohio. She was born to the late John and Edna Burris on September 14, 1926 in Richmond, Indiana. Dorothy was a member of Red Hats Society, YMCA, Monroe Historical Society, VFW Women's Auxiliary, Widow and Widowers Group and Butler County Farm Bureau. She was a homemaker, loved being around the farm animals and dogs, always enjoyed playing bingo, games, cards, knitting and crafts. Dorothy graduated from Eaton High School, worked at Mercy Hospital for 5 years and retired from Hamilton Orthopedic Clinic after 26 years. She is survived by her son Wayne (Toni) Rupp; 3 grandchildren Scott (Renee) Rupp, Denny (Heather) Rupp, Dale (Tina) Rupp; 6 great grandchildren Scottie, Victoria, Kayla, Kylie, Tysen, Jackson. Dorothy is also survived by many family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde E. Rupp, who passed away in 1987. They were married for 43 years. Daughter-in-law Linda S. Rupp in 1973; brother Harry Burris and sister Jean Luciano. The family would like a special thanks to all the people of Mount Pleasant in the rehab therapy section and to Hospice. Dottie believed celebrate life, don't mourn death!
