Age 94 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born on January 8, 1922 in Clay County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sim and Ora (Hayre) Owens. Edna was a member of Westview Church of Christ. She is survived by two children, Sharon (Mike Saiter) Foxx and Walt “Carl” (Judy Schulze) Smith; granddaughter Kim Ford; three sisters, Geneva Williams, Dorothy Cornwell and Jewell (Charlie) Dorris and sister-in-law Kleda Owens. She was also preceded in death by her husband Walter Smith; siblings, Sybil Browning, Virgil, Golden, Lonnie and Robert Owens and daughter-in-law Kay Smith. Funeral ceremony will be held at 11am Monday March 7, 2016 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday March 6, 2016 at the funeral home.
