Elaine Carol Kyle Packo

Elaine Carol Packo, age 84 of Mason, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born on May 25, 1932 in Akron, the daughter of the late James E. and Nellie M. (Buskey) Kyle. On June 8, 1957 in Akron, Elaine married her husband of over 51 years, John Edward Packo, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2009. She was a pastor’s wife, caregiver, member of Bethel Community Church and truly lived a life that reflected Jesus’ love. Elaine is survived by her sons, Stephen (Glenda) Packo of Cincinnati and David (Marilyn) Packo of Evansville, MN; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marlene (Pat) Jarrett and Shirley (Gary) Clark; sister-in-law, Mary Kyle; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, James and Thomas Kyle. A Memorial Service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Bethel Community Church, 2015 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013 with Rev. Don Dillavou officiating. Private Interment will be held in Dayton National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Great Commission Fund, 2015 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013.
