She graduated from Seven Mile School in 1950. On May 4, 1951 in Lawrenceburg, IN, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald J. Kellum. She traveled with Don during his time in the US Air Force. A 50-year member of Fort Hamilton Chapter #568 Order of the Eastern Star, Jean served as Worthy Matron in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Jean most enjoyed traveling with her husband Don, cooking with her daughter Lisa, and spending all available time with her much-adored grandson, Alex. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Donald Kellum, daughter, Lisa Kellum Kirk, grandson, Alex Kirk and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Kellum of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Robert Kellum. The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Country Manor for the love, care and support they provided not only to Jean, which they did in exemplary fashion, but to her family as well. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Cincinnati, Ohio. Private services will be arranged at the convenience of the family. Pastor Mike Gentry of New Harvest Baptist Church to officiate.
