

Age 84, passed away early Tuesday, June 14 while residing at The Kensington in Middletown. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 17, 1931 to Hoyt V. Nordeman Sr. and Dorothy Breidenthal Nordeman. She was the beloved wife of John Parsons, who preceded her in death, as did her sons Todd and Tyler Dickerscheid and grandson Christopher Pence. She is survived by her loving children, Linda (Steve) Trauthwein, Tim (Brenda) Parsons, Terrence (Nancy) Parsons, Robyn Dickerscheid, Jack (Joyce) Parsons, Paul (Kathy) Parsons, Jenni Yancoskie and Joni (Larry) Hensley. She leaves 28 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. She worked as security for the Pinkerton Co. and had the highest score recorded on the firing range in qualifying, she was very proud of that. She had a generous heart and would help anyone who was in need. Her love of animals knew no bounds. She would move heaven and earth to help a lost animal, once having her son chase down a skunk she thought was a stray cat. She also had a love for gardening and arts & crafts. Her last endeavor in the arts being a painting she did of a covered bridge. Her memorial service is being held on Tuesday, June 21st from 5 to 7 at the Webb, Noonan, Kidd funeral home which is located at 240 Ross Avenue in Hamilton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA organization. The family would like to extend their thanks to Crossroads Hospice and the staff at The Kensington for their compassionate care.
