Obituary
Ferol M. Hendrickson, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the Ft Hamilton Hospital. She was born on March 3, 1924 in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harley Henry and Ferol Freda (Martin) Miller. Ferol was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1942. She was proud of being the 1st chair clarinet for Middletown High School and also played in band and orchestra at the World's Fair in 1939. Ferol also had worked for Wright Patterson Air Force Base during WWII. On March 15, 1946, she married Wilbur Hinkle Hendrickson "Flip" and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1998. Ferol loved fishing, swimming, waterskiing and was an avid bowler and was proud of her first 200 game, but her greatest accomplishment was taking care of her family. She is survived by her cat Joy, who is 19yrs old; two sons, Scott (Susan) Hendrickson and Dan (Pam) Hendrickson; two grandchildren, Brian (Sherry) Hendrickson and Marcia (Chad) Phillips; four great grandchildren, Katie and Morgan Hendrickson and Mason and Olivia Phillips; beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends. Special thanks to Don and Lu Neubrander, Susie Carr and John Lanter for all their help and a special thank you to Dr. Savage, Ft Hamilton Hospital ED, 4 Main and ICU for all their loving care and support.
