Florence Romey Swauger Worischeck passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, at Hospice of Cincinnati (Hamilton). Florence was born March 16, 1941, in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. After graduation in 1959 she moved to South Bend, Indiana at age 18 and there she met the love of her life, Harry A. Worischeck and soon after united in marriage. They were married for almost 30 years before his passing in 1990 and together had three children. She is survived by her daughter Rev. Magdalene (Christopher) Trumbull of Hamilton Ohio, Grandchildren: Christine (John) Sergent, Phillip (Nicole) Trumbull, Shawn (Courtney) Trumbull, David (Danielle) Worischeck, Nikki (Austin) Jenkins, Joshua (Jessica) Trumbull, Dawna Jo (Nathan Rosenthal) Worischeck, Great Grandchildren Colin, Jaxon, Jetson, Julia, Noah, Kaylin, Emery, Haiden, soon to arrive, Kaison. Florence was also known as mom and grandma to Harry’s children, Harry D. (Madeline) Worischeck, Helen Wolfe-Half-day, Grandchildren Misty (Curt)Gould, Clifford (Jill)Claus, Kimberly Wolfe, Monique Giannetti, Jory Worischeck, Great grandchildren: Damien, Geoffrey, Jake, Liam, and Chase. Florence was preceded in death by her parents: David E. Swauger, Retta S. (Stepfather James Churchfield), husband Harry Alvin, 2 sons Edward Alvin Worischeck, John Emery Worischeck, granddaughter Tina Marie Worischeck, stepson William Rudolph Worischeck and stepdaughter Rhonda (Bill) Owens. Florence was a wonderful gift to many, never letting her disabilities keep her from living life to the fullest and loving her family unconditionally. Florence remained a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church joining in 1994. Florence began attending Seven Mile UMC in 2009, then in 2018, Christ, Prince of Peace UMC following her daughter Magdalene to her pastoral appointments. The family would like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for their care. Memorials can be made to any of the above churches that Florence called home. A Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Service will follow at 12pm on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Trumbull officiating. A Burial with Graveside Committal will take place at 10am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton, Ohio.
