Born in Covington, Kentucky, Ann lived a life defined by love, dedication, and an unwavering devotion to her family and the animals she cherished. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Hickman; her sons, Chris Hickman and Keith Hickman; her daughters-in-law, Janet Hickman and Sara Hickman; and her treasured grandchildren, Cory, Kaitlyn, and Alex. Her family was the foundation of her life, and the relationships she built and nurtured were among her greatest joys.
Ann had a lifelong passion for horseback riding, dog training, line dancing, and music. Her passion for music involved the Organ, Piano, and Acoustic Guitar. That passion was passed down to Keith, Kaitlyn, and Alex. Her greatest love, however, was her dogs. Over the years, she raised and trained many different breeds, dedicating countless hours to developing strong bonds with her canine companions. Alongside her beloved dogs-Chance, Maggie, and Buddy Ann competed in numerous events, earning ribbons and awards, including Best Handler and multiple First-and Second-Place honors. Her skill, patience, and love for animals were evident to all who knew her.
Ann's warmth, generosity, and steadfast love for her family and friends touched many lives. She will be remembered for her caring spirit, her enthusiasm for life, and the joy she brought to those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Funeral arrangements and a Celebration of Life will be announced in the near future.
