Beloved husband of Patricia (Bramble) Grooms, loving father of Jami (Lee) Gray and Tracy (Don) Petrosky and loved papaw to his grandchildren, Ryan, Natalie and Nick. Gary passed away suddenly at the age of 71 on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Mercy Fairfield. He is also survived by his brother Larry (Sharon) Grooms, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Georgia (Brownlee) Grooms. He was completely devoted to his family, especially his wife, Patti of 38 years and daughters, Jamie and Tracy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Friday December 23, 2016 from 5-7pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Wurzelbacher officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to charity of choice.
