Gary Hoebbel, age 68, passed away on September 19, 2026. Born on May 31, 1958, Gary will be remembered with deep respect for the steady, hard-earned life he built and the many ways he showed up for those who counted on him.
Gary’s early years were shaped by the care of his parents, Robert and Jane Hoebbel. He graduated in 1977 from Northwest High School, carrying forward a work ethic that would remain a defining thread throughout his life. Gary retired from Napa Auto Parts, a chapter that reflected his reliability and dedication.
On June 27th 1987 he married the love of his life, LeAnne Moss. Together, they went on to have three children, and Gary’s devotion to family stood alongside his determination to provide, protect, and persevere.
Beyond work and duty, Gary made room for the kind of joy that comes from motion, open air, and a little well-timed humor. He enjoyed racing his antique Novas, and he found freedom and excitement in dirt bike riding. He also loved fishing and boating—simple pleasures that suited his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for time well spent.
Gary Gerard Hoebbel is survived by his son, Robert Hoebbel and his wife, Emily, of Hamilton, Ohio; his daughters, Katherine Hoebbel of Huntington Beach, California, and Barbara Burr and her husband, Jason, of West Chester, Ohio; three grandchildren, Danny, Nicholas, and Elaina; two step-grandchildren, Jackson and James; and four siblings, John Hoebbel and his wife, Barb, Mary Balcom, Jude Venanzi and her husband, Bill, and Bob Hoebbel and his wife, Deb.
