

Gary was born on February 22, 1950, in Letcher County, Kentucky, to the late Elmer and Nan Lou (McKinney) Webb. Athletic from a young age, Gary enjoyed participating in numerous sports throughout his youth and into adulthood. He especially enjoyed baseball and was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Gary graduated from Garfield High School in 1968 and later married his high school sweetheart, Sheila Grace Carr. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1968 until 1971, receiving an honorable discharge. Following his military service, Gary attended Miami University and went on to enjoy a career in the retail industry.
Gary and Sheila were devoted Christians whose faith was an important part of their life together. Throughout the years, Gary faithfully served his church family in many capacities, including Sunday School Superintendent, board member, janitor, and as a visiting layperson, offering care and encouragement to those facing illness and other needs.
Above all, Gary was a devoted and loving husband and father whose presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. He took an active role in the lives of his sons, spending time with them and faithfully attending their sporting events and other activities. To Sheila, he was not only a devoted husband, but also her best friend, provider, and unwavering source of love and support.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Sheila Carr Webb; his two loving sons, Gary Jr. (Mary) Webb and Brian (Lisa) Webb; and his three grandchildren, Samuel, Carrlene, and Jensen. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends who will cherish his memory.
A Graveside Service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, on August 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
