HUGHES, General Ray age 84, of Winchester, OH passed away Tuesday May 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1937 in McCreary, Kentucky to Grace Davenport and General Nobel Hughes. General loved to hunt and held a special place in his heart for horses. General retired after working for Ford for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Eddie Phillips, sisters Leona Lewis and Patsy Bandy and sons Jimmy and Vincent.
General is survived by his loving wife Mona Sue Hughes and children; Rayetta (James), Gracie (Gordon), Tommy, Sandy (Willie), Roger (Mary), Jerry (Wanda), Patsy, Lisa (Rick), Pam, Donald (Missy), Bain (Tina), Roy (Roxanne), and Troy, as well as several several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 11:00 am until the services at 1:00 pm.
