Geraldine (Allen) House, Age 92, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 25, 2026. Born on July 21, 1933, in London, KY, she was the youngest daughter of the late Fred J. and Janie (Adams) Allen. Gerry, as she was affectionately known, was a proud graduate of Hazel Green High School in London, Kentucky. On her 24th birthday, July 21, 1957, Gerry married the love of her life, David Lee House of London, Kentucky. Together, they built a life in Hamilton, Ohio, and shared 42 beautiful years of marriage before his passing on August 31, 1999. Throughout her life, Gerry was known for her strong work ethic. As a teenager, she worked as a waitress, and after high school, she assisted a local dentist in London. After moving to Ohio, she dedicated many years of service to Sears, K-Mart, Elder-Beerman, and AAA of Hamilton. A woman of deep and enduring faith, Gerry was a long-time, devoted member of East River Road Baptist Church in Fairfield, where she lovingly raised her children within the church fellowship. In her later years, she transitioned her membership to North Fairfield Baptist Church. Gerry and Dave found great joy in their faith, frequently attending revivals and southern gospel singings together. Gerry and Dave cherished family time and created lasting memories on numerous road trips, including a legendary 1969 cross-country drive to California, where they stopped to visit beloved family along the way. Gerry's greatest joy was her family, and they will miss her dearly. She is survived by her loving children, James D. House and his wife, Mary, of Fairfield Twp., Donna J. Lindy of Springdale, and David L. House of Lebanon. She was a deeply devoted grandmother to Jenna (Michael) Osborne, Ryan Lindy, Joseph (Emily) House, Emily House, and Rachel House; and a proud great-grandmother to Bradley Osborne and Everly Kerrigan and another precious great-grandchild expected in December. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, David; her beloved daughter, Karen Sue; her parents; her infant sister, Opal Allen, and her three sisters and their husbands, Mary (George) Barnes, Pauline (William) Patton, and Mae Etta (Lawrence) Correll. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, OH with Rev. Ernest Wyatt officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Karen S. House Scholarship Fund, c/o Miami University Hamilton, 1601 Peck Boulevard, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, or to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
