Obituary
Gladys Ruth Smith, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Gladys was born in Brookville, IN on February 16, 1933 to the late Reuben and Grace (Winkler) Sawyer. She was a preacher's wife for many years while married to Rev. Joseph T. Smith and was a Bondsman for 30 years. Gladys is survived by her children, Mark Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Dianna Hesson and Miriam (Michael) Hofaker; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Marilyn Blaechle, Donald Sawyer and Wilbur Sawyer. Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark McVey officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
