Age 17, of Hamilton, died on August 23, 2011. He was born in Hamilton on January 11, 1994, the son of Rob Lee and Penny Lynn (Adkison) Pettigrew. Gus was a student at Hamilton High School. He was a member of the Youth Philanthropy Committee, an avid airbrush artist and passionate about skate boarding, baseball and basketball. Gus is survived by his parents; sister, Adrian Pettigrew; niece, Elizabeth Wagers; and godfather, Kevin Duncan. Funeral services will be held at Garfield Middle School, 250 N Fair Avenue, Hamilton, at 1pm on Saturday, August 27, 2011, with David Longworth officiating. Family and friends will be received at the school on Friday from 4-8pm.
