

Hazel “Louise” Croucher, age 81, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Birchwood Care Center. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on February 25, 1933, the daughter of Seagel “Red” and Annie (Isaacs) Guthrie. On October 18, 1949 she married John Croucher, Jr., they were married for 60 years before his passing on September 12, 2010. Louise was a former employee of Hamilton Foundry. She was well known as an excellent seamstress. Louise’s children include, Wanda (Randall) Ballinger, Gary (Linda) Croucher, Carolyn (George Gama) Brown, Lonnie (Joyce) Croucher and Debbie (Don) Bown; her grandchildren, Dennis, Todd, John, Chris, Scott, Allen, Ricky “Bo”, Crystal, Dean, Clinton, Stevie, Aaron, and Ashley; Louise has 18 great- grandchildren. She was the sister of, Elbert, Charles, and Johnny Guthrie, Ruth Martin, and Marjorie O’Neal. Louise has numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by, her parents, her husband, a brother Johnny Guthrie, her son Gary Croucher, grandson, Ricky “Bo” Brown, and great-grandson, Andru Croucher. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Harold Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Louise’s family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Birchwood Care Center and Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
