GRABARZ, Henry Martin “Hank”, age 98. Hank was born January 19, 1925 in Port Chester, New York to Frances and Martin Grabarz. Hank worked for Fairchild Aircraft company before starting a long career with General Electric Aviation that led to many assignments in the field throughout the US and Europe. Ultimately settling at a GE headquarters job in Cincinnati, Hank and Alice raised two sons, Christopher (Chris) and Nicholas (Nick) in the Cincinnati suburb of Fairfield.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents; wife Alice (1929 – 2017); and an older brother, Walter Grabarz.
He is survived by his sons Chris (Lenore), Nick (Lorri); granddaughters Chelsea, Whitney and Morgan; grandson Vas; great-grandchildren Sam and Emma; and a younger brother, Frank Grabarz.
A sweet, gentle and humble man with acute wit and a wry sense of humor, Hank will be missed by all members of his family and friends. He is now joyfully reunited with Alice in a much better place.
