

Hilda K. Tincher, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Woodland Country Manor. She was born January 8, 1925 in Okeana, Ohio the daughter of Edward and Amy (Thomas) Skjoldager. Hilda attended Morgan Twp. School and was a 1943 graduate of Hamilton High School. Hilda married Lester C. Tincher on May 24, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio. They were married over 54 years when he preceded her in death on November 2, 2000. They had one son Terry L. Tincher. Hilda was employed by Three C Trucking, Haeckles Trucking and later at the Journal News. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and Morgan Twp. Historical Society. She and her husband were involved with Junior Bowling at Columbia Lanes for over 20 years. Hilda is survived by her sister, Shirley L. (Skjoldager) Randall; her son, Terry and his wife Christine of Addison, Illinois; grandsons, Charles Tincher and Richard Tincher of Wheaton, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews including Cheryl (Henry) Herrera and Frank (Lea Ann) Randall. In addition to her husband, Hilda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores Ayers. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., on Saturday May 3rd from 10:00 AM till time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Pastor J. C. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Disease Research.
