Iva Lela Eagle, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Nov. 5, 2012 at Golden Years Nursing Center. She was born on December 3, 1921in Knox County Kentucky the daughter of the late George and Georgia (Bunch) Brittain. Iva received her education through Knox County High and on August 31, 1940 married Benjamin Eagle and he preceded her in death in 1961. She was on school bus driver for several school districts in Ohio retiring in 1977. She is survived by her children, Judy Eagle Sams and Douglas Ray (Barbara) Eagle; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and daughter –in-law Joyce Eagle. She was also preceded in death by her son Ben Eagle; siblings, Helen Manning, Edith Bishop, Alex, Beecher, Oscar, Parks “P.D.”, and Benny Brittain and son-in-law Tom Sams. Visitation will be held on November 9, 2012 from 12 to 2 PM with services at 2PM at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, Corbin, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Brafford Cemetery.
