HAND, Jack Thomas of Hamilton passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2013. He was the devoted husband of Norma Frost Hand, beloved father of Melissa (Steve) Bedell, John (Lisa) Hand, Elizabeth (Tyke) Williams, Christie Brown, Kathryn Schultheiss and Betsy (David) Baugh. Grandfather of Greta and Ingrid Bedell, Jessica Hand Miller, Chelsea, Brittany, Samantha, Samuel, Rachel and Joseph Hand, Ryan, Rachael, and Siobhan Huynh, Jett Steiger, Donald Schultheiss and Grace Baugh. Great grandfather of McKenna and Grady Schultheiss. Jack was born on December 29, 1933, the son of Herbert L. and Betty Hand. Jack graduated from Indiana University in 1955. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1959 and was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. He continued the family tradition of owning and running successfully the Hand Oil Company. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Episcopal Church or the Hamilton Community Foundation, 319 N. Third Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
