James Earl Moore, age 98, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026. He was born in Leighton, Kentucky on December 7, 1927, to the union of John Willie Moore and Nettie Pearl Flynn. He was employed at Armco, later renamed AK Steel, for over 35 years. In his spare time, James enjoyed fishing, was an avid bowler, and was also one of the Kentucky Wildcats’ biggest fans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Roberta, his son, Delbert L., and his brother, Delbert.
James leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Gloria, Patricia, Mary, and Rose; eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Randy Wood.
