It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Janice Kendrick, age 71, she was called home to be with the Lord on Jan. 12, 2025. She was born on Feb. 15, 1953, in Hamilton. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Jerell (Westerfield) Whitaker. She was survived by her husband Kenneth, whom she loved and married on August 11, 1973. She was a loving mother to Michael and William (Matthew), a beloved grandmother to Brooklyn and Justice, and a mother-in-law to Lorretta. She had numerous nieces and nephews. She loved shopping and getting her hair done whenever she could. Once she retired from Champion, she enjoyed feeding and watching birds and squirrels. She loved her family and life.
