Jean Loretta Forrester, age 85, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born in Oldenburg, Indiana on December 29, 1937 to the union of Joseph John Weber and Alvina M. Schrank as Ida Jean Loretta Weber. After completing employment at Fisher Body, Jean worked tirelessly to help create Faith Pentecostal Church and remained employed as an administrator. To family and friends, Jean was an “Angel on Earth” with the biggest heart. She loved everyone and made it a point to spread her love for Jesus and the importance of Salvation to others. Jean loved cooking for her family, hosting her “once a month “meals, and tending to her flowerbeds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas; brothers, Ed and Donald Weber; sisters, Chris Striecker, Audrey Weber, Evelyn Weber, and Agnes Schmidt; son-in-law, James Vaughn; granddaughter, Krystal L. Vaughn.
Jean is survived by sons, Stanley Calihan (D’Nel Chafin) and Carey (Carrie) Calihan; daughters, Jackie Vaughn, Amy Calihan, Jennis (Tim) Calihan, Jodie Calihan; two step children, Pat Gleason and Dave (Mary Ann) Forrester; brothers, Roman and Gary Weber; sisters, Agatha Stegman, Rosemary Taylor, Judith Hummer, and Diane Weber; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with a host of dear friends who will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in Jean Forrester’s name.
Visitation will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Friday, September 29, 2023 beginning at 5:30pm until time of services, beginning at 7:30pm. Pastor Glen Thomas, officiating.
