Age 57 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was born on June 20, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of the late Bernice (Stewart) McClain. Jeff was a Hamilton High School graduate and member of the Harvest Christian Fellowship. He was previously employed with Smart Paper for over 30 years. Jeff is survived by his loving and devoted companion, Barb Turner; son Travis J. McClain; five sisters, L. Kathy Baecker, Lora Renier and Debbie (Russ) Ewen, Becky Singleton and Cathy Black; special niece and nephews, Jamie (Leon), Cameron and Noah McKinney. Jeff was also preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Clifford and Dorothy Stewart, who raised him when his mother died at a young age; son, Chad Akers and brother Wayne Stewart. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at 7PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship, 1245 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, with Pastor Elby Harrison officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 5PM to time of service at the church.
