JoAnn Elkins, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Hospice of Hamilton. JoAnn was born on March 13, 1935 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Joseph Robert and Helen Elizabeth (Lane) Childress. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and one of the Founders of Avon in Springdale. JoAnn is survived by her son, Terry (Robin) Elkins; grandchildren, Tyler Elkins and Lauren Elkins; great-grandchild, Xochil; and sisters, Karen Childress and Judy Christopher. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South ”D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Wurzelbacher officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
