Born in Galesburg, Illinois, August 17, 1971. He was a graduate of Knoxville High School, attended Western Illinois University and earned his BS in Information Technology from Western Governors University. He was employed as the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Butler Tech.
He was a loving son of the late Michael Mahlon Gordon and is survived by his mother, Marian "Joy" Gordon, Brother, Steve Gordon and Sister-in-Law, Teresa Gordon. Joel is also survived by his loving wife, Tonya Jo (Harshbarger) of 31 years and his cherished, adult children, Connor Mahlon Gordon (Gillian)
and Madison Jo Gordon.
Cremation services will be private for the immediate family.
A Celebration of Life for everyone will be held on his birthday, Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 3pm at Normandy United Methodist Church. 450 W. Alex-Bell Rd. Dayton Oh. 45459.
