John Nmn Ledford

John Ledford, age 90, of Fairfield Township, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on August 16, 1935, to the union of Thomas Ledford and Bertha Burns. John worked as an “Over the Road” driver for Roadway Express for many years, where he was highly thought of and well respected by his fellow associates. He was also well known and respected in his neighborhood, as he was the last original neighbor on his street. Generations, past and present, knew him well. John always presented as a kind and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; truly the “family rock” behind it all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Sally Ann, (affectionately known as “Sal-Ann”), five brothers, and four sisters.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Burt Ledford (Sheila), and Keith Ledford (Elizabeth); daughters, Wanda Richardson and Jacqueline Sams (Rodney); brothers, Bill Ledford, and Paul Ledford (Jewel); sister, Grace Arnold; grandchildren, Brandon Ledford (Amy), Bunista Cropenbaker (Dan), Katelyn Young (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Caleb Cropenbaker, MaKayla Cropenbaker, Eden Ledford, Nash Ledford, Adelyn Ledford, Eloise Young, Rhett Young, one more great-grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 on Friday, November 28, 2025, beginning at 12:00pm until time of services, beginning at 1:00pm. Pastors Rick Witt and Tim Oldfield, officiating.
