John is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Joe) Sparks-Huff and Jocelyn (Joe) Cates, his father John David Sparks, step-mother Carolyn Sparks, brother Ed (Becky) Sparks, grandchildren Zoë, Avery, Abby, Joey, Jade, and Everleigh, as well as extended family and friends.
Throughout his life, John personified resilience, ingenuity, and resolve. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time at the beach and boating with his closest friends. He took great pride in being the provider for his family, whom he loved deeply.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Henrietta (Henri) Sparks, and his mother, Aileen Sparks.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:00 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Pastor Jake Jacobs, officiating.
