John Lewis Warren, age 87, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born in Sprule, Kentucky, on July 29, 1939, to the union of Lewis and Ellen Warren. John served honorably and was discharged from the United States Air Force. Later in life, John had the great pleasure of meeting Miss Jo Ann Black and went on to marry and spend fifty-five glorious years together. In Ms. Jo’s eyes, John will always be the “best guy in the world.” He was the biggest jokester, always having the perfect response. He was spontaneous and quick-witted, making everyone around him laugh. John was a friend to all, helping anyone in need without hesitation. In his spare time, John enjoyed all forms of exercise, including walking, bike riding, and frequent trips to Planet Fitness.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his ten siblings.
John leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Jo, his brother-in-law, Jeff Black, and many other friends and family who will miss him, especially his nephew, Tim Brown (LeAnna).
The family would like to thank Hospice of Hamilton for the kind and compassionate care that was provided along John’s journey.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 on Monday, October 26, 2026, beginning at 11:00am, until the funeral, beginning at 12:00pm. Pastor Chris Emmons, officiating.
