Joseph F. Cobb

Joseph Floyd Cobb, age 86, passed away on October 5, 2017. He was born in Barbourville, KY on April 26, 1931, the son of the late Floyd B. and Georgiana (Warren) Cobb. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. On August 23, 1953, he married his wife of 64 years, Venetta (Martin) Cobb. Joseph is survived by his wife; children, Cindy (Frank) Sopko, Marilyn Barnes and Rebecca Cobb; grandchildren, John Paul Sopko, Martina Sopko, Tasha Graven, Stacy Barnes, Brent Barnes and Leah Stolla; great-grandchildren, Ashyiah, Kaylee and Warren; and siblings, James (Fran) Cobb, Robert (Sandy) Cobb, Mary (Bud) Sparks, Sandy Young and Betsy George. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janet Stolla; and brothers, Raleigh Cobb, Mark Cobb and Thomas Cobb. Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jake Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery.
