Joyce Ann Ventus

In deep sorrow, we announce the tranquil passing of Joyce Ventus, who left us on October 2, 2023. Born on August 28, 1952, Joyce was a beacon of love, faith, and dedication, whose legacy will continue to illuminate the lives of those who knew her.

Joyce was predeceased by son, Kent Taylor. She is survived by her children, Damon (Tracy) Taylor, Shawn (Jennifer) Ventus, Alicia Ventus, Joshua (Krystal) Ventus, and Charles (Mikayla) Ventus. Her grandchildren, Chelsea (Ryan) Williamson, Ashley, Jordan, Jayden, Harmony, Christopher, Ariyah, Amauri, Damon, Layton, Jasmine, Avayah, and Zaiden. Great grandchildren, DeJuan, Jada, Marlee, and Nayr. It is impossible to encapsulate the essence of Joyce's life within a few words. She will be remembered not just for her earthly achievements, but more significantly for her unyielding faith, and her dedication and her love for her family. Her caring nature profoundly touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Among her many accomplishments, Joyce held in high regard the rearing of her children and grandchildren. She considered this as her most cherished duty and joy. Joyce believed in demonstrating by example and taught valuable life lessons of strength and obedience. The robust foundations laid by her profoundly impacted those around her and will be the guiding lights of their lives.

The legacy she leaves behind is one of a life lived in faith, love, and forgiveness. Those who have been touched by her life can find solace in the brightness of this legacy.

While the passing of Joyce Ventus will bring sorrow and mourning, her life should be celebrated for its courage, compassion, and unwavering faith. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, whose lives she has enriched with her presence.

A Gathering will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Hamilton Dream Center, 725 Campbell Avenue, Hamilton. A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm on Monday at the church with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Condolences may be left for the family at www.Webb-Noonan.com
