Kellous Peters

Kellous Peters passed away May 22, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born March 7, 1929 in Oldenburg Indiana to the late James and Emma Peters. Kellous came to Hamilton in 1948 and worked in a supervisory role at Champion Paper for 42 years retiring in 1992. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Irene (McWhorter) Peters; daughter Linda (Gary) Giffen, grandchildren Jeffrey (Ashley) Giffen and Jennifer (Kevin) Farris; great-grandchildren Avery Giffen, Aiden Giffen, Archer Giffen, Cooper Farris and Ella Farris. He was preceded in death by his brother Earl Peters; sisters Elsie Banks, Edith Banks and Rhoda Hudson. The family would like to thank the staffs of Berkley Square and Hospice of Cincinnati for their care and support. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton 45011 on Friday May 27, 2016 from 10am to 12pm. Funeral services will be 12pm Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Wilson of the North Fairfield Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or to North Fairfield Baptist Church.
