Linda Burns

Linda J. Burns, age 80, passed away on August 15, 2021 at the Laurels of Hamilton. She was born on October 10, 1940 in Hamilton, OH to Joseph and Ira (Young) Birgel. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, going to Church, gardening, animals, and spending time with her family. Linda was a longtime member of Hamilton Assembly of God and loved serving the Lord.

She is survived by her children, Billy J. Flynn, Debi Vey, Teresa (Marty Baker) Lane, and David Birgel; her grandchildren, Tricia (Bobby) Estrella, Sarah (John) McCarthy, Justin (Katie) Lieffers, Bryan (Famela) Flynn, Curtis (Maddie) Combs, Brittany (Jeff Vickers) Reinhard, Jessica (Uriel Ayon) Vey, Samantha Blackwell, Sarah Bentley, Bradley Birgel, and Ian Birgel; numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Burns and her parents.

Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM until time of memorial service at 4:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011 with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
