BLACK, Lloyd Oakland Jr., “Sonny”, age 70, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023. Sonny was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Mildred and Lloyd Black Sr. He played basketball while in High School, loved fishing, had lots of friends as he loved talking to people, while working at the family grocery store or at his residence while at the Bradford Place nursing home.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Alverez.
Sonny is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Ridener (Eldon), Jo Warren (John), Carol Davidson (Pete); brother, Jeff Black. He will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm until Memorial Services at 5:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
