Lois June Vicena 87, of Fairfield Twp., passed away peacefully October 16, 2025. Lois was born December 12, 1937 in Hazard, KY to the late Virgil and Agatha (Felts) Hooker. Also preceding her in death are her beloved husband of 47 years, Doug Vicena in 2023, daughter Carla McQueen in 2022 and infant brother Ralph Hooker.
Lois leaves to cherish her memory, her children Renee' (Helen Wallace) Tackett, Ryan (Laura) Tackett; grandchildren Joe McQueen, Alex (Aurelie) McQueen, Quinn (Sofia Recalde) McQueen, Spencer (Christina Hughes) Tackett, Abby (Caleb Brott) Tackett, Gabrielle Tackett and nine great-grandchildren.
Lois was a graduate of Hamilton High School Class of 1956, and was retired from Ohio Casualty Insurance Company after a long career. Lois was the matriarch of her family. She gave her family all the tools they needed to succeed in life. She was loved and will greatly missed.
Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Animal Friends Humane Society (https://www.animalfriendshs.org) in memory of Lois.
