Lorraine Margaret Hammack

Lorraine Margaret Hammack, age 91, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026. She was born in Middlesboro, KY. on June 24, 1935, to the union of Jake Hurst and Mary Brown. Lorraine was employed as an STNA for over 30 years at The Residence at Huntington Court, where she later called home. She stood firm in her beliefs and could be stubborn at times but truly loved her family with all her heart. Lorraine was a strong, brave woman who overcame many obstacles throughout her lifetime and instilled those values in her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, Lorraine enjoyed both gospel and country music, gardening, cooking, fishing and traveling to visit family in her hometown and in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul; her significant other, Duane; sons, Tim and Paul; daughter, Anita; brother, Mitchell; sisters, Lucille, Georgia, Viola, Gene, Juanita and Gretta.

Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Gary (Shirlie) and Mark (Karen); daughter, Victoria Herrington (Steve); sisters, Brenda Hurst and Bea, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish the memories made always with love and devotion.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, beginning at 1:00pm. Pastor Joe French, officiating.
