Lucille Napier

She was born May 2, 1934 in Krypton, Kentucky to the late Melvin and Ollie (Hurt) Frost, also preceding her in death are her beloved husband of 55 years, Marcus Napier; her brothers, Taylor (Dora) Frost, Mike Frost, and Charles Frost.

Lucille was the dearly loved mother of Sammie (Lori) Napier, of

Roebuck South Carolina; Diane (Chuck)Wiles, of Fairfield, Ohio; and Marcus Napier ll, of Liberty Twp, Ohio. She was the cherished grandmother of Joshua (Christina) Lockaby, Samantha Napier Singleton, Nicholas (Lauren) Napier, Megan Wiles, Austin Wiles, and Brittany (Brandon) Smith.

She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Nancy (Julius) Gibson of Hamilton, Ohio, and Barbara (Tom) Biddle, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, her sister-in-law Rufenia Frost, of Somerset, Kentucky; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of West Side Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ohio. She enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and University of Kentucky Basketball with her husband. She loved attending her children's baseball and soccer games, piano recitals, and band performances. Lucille took great pride in decorating her home, shopping, working in her many flower beds, and helping her husband take care of their vegetable garden, and making her home warm and welcoming.

She shared an unbreakable bond with her sister, Nancy "Sissy" Gibson, who was her best friend and constant companion throughout life. She also cherished her friendship with her neighbor, Marion Young, sharing many joyful times together. Lucille loved telling stories of growing up in rural Kentucky, and sharing her family history. She found the greatest joy in being with and caring for her family, embracing the everyday moments that make life meaningful.

Lucille's family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Rose Hill funeral home at 2565 Princeton Rd, Fairfield Twp. Ohio, 45011 beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, Lucille will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Marcus in Rose Hill Burial Park.
