Marianna Miller Moore

Marianna Moore, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Berkeley Square. She was born on April 28, 1927 in Madison, WV, the daughter of the late Calvin and Amanda (Johnston) Miller. On July 26, 1947 Marianna married her husband of almost 68 years, George Donald Moore. She was a very loving and caring person, and in her later years, had belonged to The Elks where she enjoyed golfing. Marianna is survived by her husband, George; children, Donna (Dale) Shearer, Gary (Marcia) Moore and David (Beverly) Moore; grandchildren, Lori Moore, Beth Moore, Kelly (Brandon) Collett, Amanda (Matthew) Brzozowski, Brad Edrington, Ryan (Missy) Moore and Scott Moore; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Jane Arnold; cousins, Arky and Jane Vaughn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Moore; grandchildren, Steve Moore and Michelle Moore; sister, Betty Jean “Tomi” Cannon; and aunt, Marie Johnston. The family can not thank the staff of Crossroads Hospice and Berkeley Square enough, and request donations be made in Marianna’s name to either Crossroads Hospice, 4380 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or Berkeley Square, c/o Colonial, 230 Ludlow Street, Hamilton, OH 45011. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
