Marlene Carol Pendergrass

Marlene was born on April 19, 1952 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Otto and Katherine “Fannie” (Rader) Newman. She was a member of Richmond Road Baptist Church and previously worked for Cintas. Marlene is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bobby Pendergrass Sr.; three children, Bobby Pendergrass Jr., Jennifer Pendergrass and Katelynn Pendergrass; three grandchildren Bobby E. Pendergrass III, Brandon Pendergrass, Jeremy Pendergrass; one great grandchild Alec Kaiden Diesbach; siblings, Earl (Bessie) Newman, Otto Newman Jr., Bobby (Analise) Newman, Irene White, Johnny Newman and Joyce (Larry) Pennington. She was also preceded in death by two siblings, Jimmy and Harold Newman. A gathering will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Benjamin Thomas Pendergrass officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
