

Marsha Ann {Bishop} Sanford, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was born on November 28, 1947 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late McHenry and Ruth (Martin) Bishop. Marsha was a graduate of Taft High School and remained a lifelong resident of Hamilton. She dedicated most of her career to caring for the developmentally disabled as a teaching assistant and residential care manager. Later in life, she continued her service to others by working with elderly patients as a healthcare assistant at Heartland of Woodridge until her retirement. Marsha enjoyed cooking, music, playing card games, and collecting figurines. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her laughter, sense of humor, and kindness. Marsha is survived by her daughter, Natosha (Sanford) Finley and her husband Darryl; grandson, Gavin Finley; siblings, Larry Bishop and his wife Dollie (Caudill) and Wanda (Bishop) Witte and her husband Mark; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10am until 12pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 12pm on Friday at the funeral home with Brother Cliff Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
