Melissa Ann Streit

Melissa Ann Streit, age 58, of Trenton, Ohio, passed away on June 24, 2026, at Mercy Fairfield. Born December 31, 1967, in Hamilton, Ohio, Melissa will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—marked by a compassionate spirit that touched those fortunate enough to know her. Melissa devoted more than 39 years of dedicated service to Cincinnati Financial, where she worked as a supervisor. Her long tenure reflected steady commitment, professionalism, and care for the people and responsibilities entrusted to her. Melissa was preceded in death by her father, John Streit, and her companion, Michael “Buddha” Hernandez, who passed on May 15, 2025. She is survived by her mother, Judy (Rager) Newman; two brothers, John (Susan) Streit Jr. and Ed Streit; and her niece and nephews, Tyler (Miranda) Breh, Timothy Streit, Elizabeth (Robert) Streit, Clayton Streit, and William Streit. A gathering for family and friends will be held on July 8, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, with a memorial ceremony at 7 p.m., Pastor Andy Streit officiating.
