February 24, 2024. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1966 to Robert “Bobby” and
Marsha Elder. In 1987, Micheall fell in love with her devoted husband James “Jim” Singer who
she recently celebrated 36 cherished years of marriage with.
Micheall loved her family dearly. She treasured being a Mom and devoted her entire adult life to
raising her four beloved children and creating memories for them that will last a lifetime.
Micheall made the house “HOME” to all who lived and visited there. She welcomed two
granddaughters into her family. Being a “Mimi” was considered one of her greatest titles in life.
Micheall was the picture of strength. Despite an 8 year long battle with cancer, she almost
never complained. Every night she laid her head down she would pray for one more day with
her family and each morning she woke up “she won,” as her prayer had been answered with
another precious day to spend with her family. She will always be remembered for her huge
heart, her incredible love for her husband, family, and friends, a coffee cup in her hand and
slippers on her feet. Her legacy will be kept alive in the hearts of all who knew, loved, and
deeply cared for her.
Micheall was preceded in death by her father Bobby Elder. She leaves behind her husband Jim
Singer; three daughters, Kelli (Scott) Sorrell, Alyssa (Kyle) Murphy, Jenna (Chad) Rowe, and son
Peyton Singer; two granddaughters Taylor and Hannah Sorrell; her mother Marsha Elder and
sister Melissa (Wes) Dowdy; nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family
members and friends.
