Nellie C. Allen, 76, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, June 19 at the Golden Years Health Care Center in Hamilton. She is survived by her children, Glenn "Whitey" Allen, Rocky (Monica) Allen, Glenda (Russell Mayse) Allen, Mark Allen and Tracy (Rick Brown) Allen; sisters, Eunice (Donald Graber) Wilburn, Betty Roy, Maggie Seward and Susie (Wallen) Risner; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie and her family were very proud of the fact that she obtained her GED at age 48. She was employed as a nurse at Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital for over 8 years. Nellie loved flowers and hummingbirds and was a devoted mother to her children.
