Novella Brownfield of Hamilton, Ohio, age 100, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on August 19,1925. She graduated from New Lexington High School as the salutatorian and attended Capital University on a scholarship. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, David Brownfield in 2014. Also preceding her in death was her grandson Mark Holmes in 2020 and her sister Wanda Etter in 2013. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Dan) Holmes, Richard (Margo) Brownfield and Jeff (Cindy) Brownfield, four grandchildren (Scott, Dayna, Tara and Jenna), nine great grandchildren and her brother Lester Shepperd. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Hamilton, Ohio. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.Webb-Noonan.com.
