Pat Olivia, age 86 of West Chester passed peacefully on May 26, 2024, surrounded by her family, devoted husband Larry Olivia and her children Brian, Pam, and Melissa, while under the care of Hospice of Cincinnati.
Pat graduated from Hazelton Pennsylvania High School. Shortly after she met the love of her life, her husband Larry of 67 Years. Orchestrated by the hands of God himself. It was on a bus trip while attending a Penn State football game. “Happy Valley” took on a whole new meaning for our family from that day forward. Their love story created a family that she so loved and adored. She was the quintessential stay-at- home mom who cooked dinner every night, made the most extravagant birthday cakes, Christmas cookies, Halloween costumes, curtains, personalized cross-stitched Christmas stockings, and embroidered hand towels. In her lifetime, she found joy in attending to whatever needed cooking, baking, crafting, stitching, hemming, or repair.
Pat was a cornerstone of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Pleasant Run Farms, Ohio, where she led the Women's Organization. Her dedication and commitment to serving others extended beyond her roles, as she graciously organized post-Mass gatherings, ensuring that all could come together in fellowship over coffee and donuts.
Following 27 years dedicated to raising her children, Pat commenced her career at Junge Jims in a time before UPC codes and self-scanners, memorizing over 500 SKUs with remarkable ease. Later, she pursued her studies in travel and tourism, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors. As a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit, she became the proud owner of Trio Travel, which afforded her and her husband the opportunity to explore the world together.
Preceded in death by her parents, Claire and Anthony Sacco, her brother Tony Sacco, her nephew John Dixon Bergman, Jr., and her hand-picked angel whom she ascended into heaven with; her first born Granddaughter Alissa Renee Lampert.
Pat leaves to cherish and honor her memory, four children Brain Olivia, Pam (Jeff Lampert) Kevin Olivia (Natasha) and Melissa Olivia and her five grandchildren. – Alissa, Logan, Keenan, Sophia, and Katya. As well as a loving Aunt to nieces and nephews and a great friend to many.
Pat’s work on earth is done, she finished the race and fought the good fight, a good and faithful servant. 2 Timothy 4:6-8.
On Friday, August 9, 2024, the family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation at St. John Neumann Church in Pleasant Run Farm, Ohio, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass honoring Pat Olivia will commence at 11:00 AM, followed by a celebration of life until 3:00 PM.
