I was just thinking of Paul the other day. What a wonderful man & neighbor he was. He was always concerned about my 2 daughters staying safe on the college campus. He was such a kind hearted man.   May the Lord comfort his family.

Paul's first deployment to Chu Lai, Quan Tri Province 1966 with the Men of 10, better known as Naval Mobile Construction Battalion MCB 10 or Seabee's. We Build, We Fight was their motto. He served with the largest unit Alpha Company, 4th Platoon who ran and maintained everything from jeeps, rock crushers, to earth movers.

Life won't be the same without you. Thanks for being a great big brother. Love Debbie

Paul was our neighbor for about 8 years until the summer of 2020. My daughters and I loved him dearly. He was so kind and always concerned for our safety. He gave the girls screamer gadgets to put on their keychains in case of emergency when they were in college. Even our dog Maggie loved him. He was the only person our dog DIDNT bark at. He loved his bird, and because he was always feeding the birds in his back yard we also came to love watching them as well. He often talked about the white egret he saw at the pond, and we watched diligently until we saw it one day. 
  I learned that it's ok to talk back to, or even scream at, the newscaster on the TV. They really do need to hear our thoughts on the matter, and it feels good too! 
  Paul has a huge heart for others, and loves his family greatly.    Someday we will see him again! ❤ Our condolences to the family, May the Lord comfort you during this time of loss.

I suppose this is why I learned to play Risk.  Must have been a family, or brotherly, favorite game.  I do recall watching them play when I was very little and visited Grandma and Grandpa Klei's house on Sundays.  I remember some of his stories about politics and ideas on how to make things better in the world.  Now he is in the best place of all.  Say hi to grandma and grandpa, and Aunt Lucy for me.
